Deploy HYPE on a 5×5 board. If your square comes up, you take the round, and you mine ICHOR.
This is the round being played right now on Elysium. Gold shows where HYPE is deployed. When the clock runs out, one square wins and a new round opens.
No hardware, no hashrate. Mining is a game of where you place your HYPE, played on-chain every minute.
Pick one square or all 25 and choose how much HYPE to put on each. You can add squares until the clock runs out.
When the round closes, the contract picks a winning square at random. Everyone on it splits 90% of the HYPE from the losing squares, by stake, and gets their own HYPE back.
The winning square also mines 1 ICHOR. Half the rounds it's split by stake; the other half one miner takes it all, with odds set by stake.
On top of that, 0.2 ICHOR per round builds up in the Motherlode. Every round has a 1 in 625 chance of releasing all of it to the winning square, and stakers count double in that split. If nobody is on the winning square, half of the HYPE becomes a bonus pot for the next round's winners.
Every ICHOR in existence was mined by someone playing the board. There is no premine and no private sale: the protocol treasury only holds ICHOR it bought on the open market.

Buyback and burn. 10% of the HYPE on losing squares buys ICHOR on the open market. 70% of what's bought is burned for good, 10% goes to stakers and 20% to the protocol treasury, which funds growth and liquidity.
Stake to mine more. Staked ICHOR boosts the ICHOR you mine, up to 2x, once it has been staked for 24 hours. Lock it for 30 to 365 days to earn up to 3x the staking rewards and push the boost up to 3x. HYPE winnings are never affected.
Invite and earn. Bring a miner with your link and you earn 20% of the protocol fee they pay, every round they play, or 30% while you keep enough ICHOR staked.
Seasons. Every season has a public leaderboard, and the protocol treasury can fund prizes for the top miners. Prizes nobody claims are burned.
Rewards for patience. Mined ICHOR stays unrefined until you claim it. Claiming costs 10%, and that 10% is shared among everyone who hasn't claimed yet.
Empty rounds mint nothing. The clock only starts with the first deploy, so ICHOR is issued only when people are actually mining.
The contracts are verified on the Elysium explorer and can't be upgraded. Here is everything the admin key can and can't do.
How the winner is picked: a secret seed is committed on-chain before each round opens, then combined with a block hash from after the round closes. No one can know the result while deploys are open. If a round isn't settled within 5 minutes, anyone can cancel it and every miner gets 100% back.
An EVM wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby, and some HYPE on Elysium. The app adds the Elysium network to your wallet for you.
0.001 HYPE per square. Covering all 25 squares at the minimum costs 0.025 HYPE per round.
Yes. HYPE on a losing square goes to the winners and to buybacks. If you cover every square you always win the round, but you also pay into your own pot, so you trade most of the risk for a smaller expected result.
Half of the HYPE goes to buybacks and the other half becomes a bonus pot that the winners of the next round with winners share, on top of that round's pot. No ICHOR is minted that round.
Winnings are yours as soon as the round settles. Claim HYPE whenever you like. Claim ICHOR when you choose: waiting earns you a share of other miners' claim fees.
Yes. Automine repeats your squares and amount every round for as many rounds as you choose, and can reinvest your HYPE winnings. Stop it anytime to get the unused balance back.
